Day 1
Private Charter Flight from Santiago to Robinson Crusoe Island and Transfer to Lodge
- Morning: Depart from Santiago on a private charter flight to Robinson Crusoe Island. The direct flight will take you exclusively to the island.
- Afternoon: Upon arrival, you’ll take a boat transfer from the port to the lodge with ocean views. This day is for traveling, so no fishing will take place. You’ll arrive at the lodge by evening, where you’ll be greeted with a welcome lobster dinner, a delicious local dish to kick off your island adventure. Enjoy the meal while soaking in stunning ocean views, then rest at the lodge.
Day 2
First Full Day of Fishing at Robinson Crusoe Island
- After a hearty breakfast, you’ll embark on your first full day of fishing around Robinson Crusoe Island, using the appropriate fishing techniques (jigging, popping, or trolling) based on the day’s conditions. You can expect to catch various species such as Seriola lalandi (Kingfish), Marlin, Flatfish, and Codfish.
- Lunch: During the day, the lunch will be prepared onboard the boat, featuring freshly caught fish. You’ll enjoy your meal right on the water while continuing to fish.
- In the late afternoon, return to the lodge for a nice dinner with spectacular ocean views, followed by a restful night.
Day 3
Second Full Day of Fishing at Robinson Crusoe Island
- Your second full day of fishing continues as you explore different fishing spots around Robinson Crusoe Island, using the most suitable fishing methods for the day’s conditions.
- Lunch: The boat crew will prepare fresh fish from the day’s catch for lunch, which you’ll enjoy while fishing in the open sea.
- Afterward, return to the lodge for dinner and a relaxing evening.
Day 4
Rest Day, Exploration, and Learning About the History of Robinson Crusoe
- This day is for rest and exploration. You’ll have the opportunity to:
- Go hiking on the island’s beautiful trails.
- Explore the island, discovering its stunning landscapes and unique spots.
- Visit the Serlkin Lookout, which offers breathtaking panoramic views of the island.
- Learn about Robinson Crusoe: Discover the island's fascinating history related to the famous shipwreck survivor and how it influenced global literature.
- Optional activities: Depending on availability, you may also enjoy optional activities like snorkeling or kayaking.
- Enjoy a relaxed lunch at the lodge and spend the afternoon at leisure, taking in the serene surroundings. In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner at the lodge with amazing views.
Day 5
Third Full Day of Fishing at the Island’s Reefs and Coasts
- Today, you’ll fish around the island’s stunning reefs and coastal areas, ideal spots for catching a variety of fish. You’ll use the appropriate fishing techniques based on conditions.
- Lunch: As with previous days, lunch will be prepared onboard with freshly caught fish. You’ll enjoy your meal in the middle of your fishing adventure.
- In the evening, return to the lodge for dinner and rest.
Day 6
Fourth Full Day of Fishing in Open Waters
- On the fourth day, you’ll venture into the open waters of Robinson Crusoe Island to fish in deeper seas, targeting larger species depending on the conditions.
- Lunch: The crew will prepare fresh fish from the catch of the day for lunch, which you’ll enjoy while fishing in the open waters.
- Return to the lodge in the evening for a relaxing dinner.
Day 7
Return to Santiago - Shopping and Free Time
- Morning: After breakfast at the lodge, you’ll take a boat transfer back to the port to catch your flight back to Santiago.
- Afternoon: You’ll arrive in Santiago and be transferred to a local hotel for check-in.
- After checking in, you’ll have some free time to go shopping at a nearby mall such as Mall Costanera Center or Mall Plaza Vespucio, where you can buy souvenirs or simply enjoy a shopping experience in Santiago.
- Evening: Rest at the hotel and enjoy your last night in the city.
Day 8
Departure and Return Home
- After breakfast, you’ll have some free time to relax or explore a bit more before your flight.
- You’ll be transferred to Santiago Airport to take your return flight home according to your flight schedule.
Recommendations
- Charter Flight: The flight to Robinson Crusoe Island is a private charter flight. The weight limit per angler is 15 kg. Be sure to pack lightly to avoid any issues.
- Island Weather: The island’s weather can change rapidly, which may cause delays in your return flight. It is recommended to have one or two extra days available in case of flight delays. Since we cannot depart if the weather conditions are unsafe, your return flight may be delayed.
- Recommendation: Opt for a ticket with flexible changes for your return flight, as this will give you more flexibility in case your flight is delayed due to weather conditions. It’s also advisable to check with the airline about their change or rebooking policies before you travel.
